Teen Dramas

Today there are many teen dramas on television as well as film. On television in the UK there is a wide variety of both British and American teen dramas such as Skins, Hollyoaks, The Inbetweeners, Misfits, One Tree Hill, 90210, Glee, Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, Waterloo Road and many more. I believe that some of these teen dramas have an unrealistic representation of youth. I think it’s because of how the media portrays teenagers within the news and that producers only create teen dramas for entertainment. Only a few of these teen dramas actually show some realistic representation of teens but they are still slightly extravagant to create entertainment for the audience.
